The project deals with the renewal of the relationships of the inhabitants of the former “Turnianska stolica” region and the vanishing bonds between generations and communities. The project activities are aimed not only at refreshing the social life, but also at creating new contacts between the people living on both sides of the border by a presentation of folklore, customs, crafts and gastronomy at three international festivals.

The Bodvaszilas Spring Festival will be aimed at the presentation of traditional gastronomy, folklore and customs by means of traditional spring dishes preparation and tasting and by performances of local folklore ensembles.

The Peder Summer Festival will present traditional folk culture – traditional crafts, dishes, music ensembles as well as amateur theater performances showing situations from people's everyday lives.

The Peder Harvest Festival will show local harvest customs, jam making and traditional food preparation and tasting.

The program of festivals will enable the visitors to actively participate in it by taking part in a kettle meal cooking contest as well as various crafts.
